The Kettlebell swing

Sep 30. Friday. Day 5.

Finally, we had a relatively easier day, but that was because we spent the time in learning the deceptively simple kettlebell swing – which superworks the hamstrings and glutes, but also seems to be fun thing to do.

Basically simple rules – grab the kettlebell and swing it up and down in between your legs and then up again; Back straight and using the hamstrings and glutes to thrust and and get the swing going.

It didn’t feel like a workout – but that is possibly because we didn’t really work-out-work-out, but rather tried to concentrate and get it right.

So, another fun day and I must admit that after 2 weeks, I look forward to these classes. The coaches are super, the workouts are fun, the gang is great (though no bonding at all yet, but still fun to see everyone struggle) and touchwood, it’s been real good so far.
