Mar 14, 2010 – Sunday: Stationary bike + light lower weight at Frankfurt airport hotel

That said it all.

I was watching the Bahrain GP and the IPL (KKR vs. RCB) in parallel – sitting in the room.

Once the race/ match got over, I opted not to watch the Chargers massacring Chennai and instead went to the Fitness center here to a little bit of cycling and some lower weights.

They got a really nice fitness center here. I was tempted to run on the treadmill, but wanted to take it easy since I ran yesterday (Sat) and thought I should do some cross-training instead. The bike was good. 30 mins, some 28 kms, showed a burn of ~300 cals if I remember right.

The weights equipment was great as well. The equipment was mainly for the upper body which I didn’t even try. For the legs, I did the same old stuff (except the leg press which, despite being arguably the most popular lower body exercise, was not available) – Leg raises, Ham curls, half squats and calf raises.

Back to the room now. Spoke to Deepu and updating this while the Super Kings are plummeting to a bad defeat against the Chargers.
